Seoul & Warsaw Strengthen Defense and Supply Chain Ties Amid Iran War
Following PM Tusk's Seoul visit on April 13, South Korea and Poland are broadening their comprehensive strategic partnership beyond arms sales to include energy and supply chain cooperation. Warsaw is positioning Seoul as its most important defense partner after the United States, with the $44.2B framework agreement expanding to cover joint production, technology transfers, and training. K2GF tank deliveries from South Korea are set to begin arriving in Poland in 2026, with K9PL howitzer production starting at a new Polish factory.
