Poland K2PL Domestic Production Agreement
signedExpanded framework for domestic production of the K2PL variant in Poland at the Bumar-Labedy plant in Gliwice. In April 2026 Bumar-Labedy formally signed the domestic production agreement with Hyundai Rotem covering 61 K2PL tanks and 72 support vehicles, with the first K2PL expected off the line in 2028 — Poland's first domestic tank production since 2009. The K2PL incorporates Polish-specified subsystems, a new turret design, and Polish ammunition compatibility.
