Poland K9 Second Executive Contract (K9PL)

Poland's second executive contract under the 2022 K9 framework agreement, covering 152 vehicles: 6 K9A1 howitzers (delivered November 2025) and 146 K9PL howitzers customized to Polish requirements. The K9PL integrates Poland's Topaz automated fire control system, Fonet communications network, and Obra-3 laser warning sensors with smoke grenade launchers, plus additional protective plating over the running gear and a 12.7mm WKM-B heavy machine gun. The first K9PL batch shipped from Hanwha Aerospace's Changwon plant on July 3, 2026, with deliveries running through 2027. Combined with the 212 units completed under the first executive contract, the two contracts total 364 K9 howitzers for the Polish Land Forces.
