Poland K9 Second Executive Contract (K9PL)

The K9PL integrates Poland's Topaz automated fire control system, Fonet communications network, and Obra-3 laser warning sensors with smoke grenade launchers, plus additional protective plating over the running gear and a 12.7mm WKM-B heavy machine gun. The first K9PL batch shipped from Hanwha Aerospace's Changwon plant on July 3, 2026, with deliveries running through 2027. Combined with the 212 units completed under the first executive contract, the two contracts total 364 K9 howitzers for the Polish Land Forces.
