Egypt Launches Local Production of K9A1 Thunder Howitzer
Egypt launched co-production of the K9A1 Thunder 155mm self-propelled howitzer at Military Factory 200 near Cairo. The initial batch was produced in South Korea, with subsequent production transitioning to Egyptian facilities under a technology transfer arrangement with Hanwha Aerospace.
