Korean Defense Firms Report Record Profits Exceeding 3 Trillion Won
South Korea's defense industry posted record operating profit exceeding 3 trillion won for the first time in 2024, reaching 3.6 trillion won across 83 firms, driven by the ongoing export boom. FnGuide projects combined operating profit at the Big Four defense firms (Hanwha Aerospace, Hyundai Rotem, KAI, LIG Nex1) of 5.2 trillion won, nearly double their 2.6 trillion won in 2024.
