South Korea and India Deepen Defense Ties with Three New Cooperation Pacts

Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh visited Seoul — the first such visit since 2019 — and signed three new defense cooperation agreements covering cybersecurity protocols, UN peacekeeping cooperation, and National Defense University collaboration. Building on the "Joint Strategic Vision" from an earlier summit, both sides discussed joint development, production, and exports of defense equipment. Bilateral trade target was raised from $27B to $50B within four years.
