Cheongung-II Intercepts 29 of 30 Iranian Missiles in UAE Combat Debut
South Korea's Cheongung-II (M-SAM Block II) air defense system achieved a 96% intercept rate in its first combat engagement, destroying 29 of 30 Iranian missiles over the UAE. The system also helped intercept 645 of 689 Iranian drones. The UAE immediately requested emergency resupply of 30+ interceptors, triggering global demand for the system.
