The KSS-III (Jangbogo-III class) is a 3,000-ton diesel-electric attack submarine featuring air-independent propulsion (AIP), six vertical launch cells for cruise missiles, and advanced combat systems. The most capable conventional submarine in the ROK Navy inventory.
