LIG Defense & Aerospace (formerly LIG Nex1) made its first appearance at the Sea-Air-Space exposition in National Harbor, Maryland, June 20–22. The company showcased the Bigung (Poniard) 2.75-inch guided rocket and its Naval Launcher System (NLS), positioned for integration on unmanned surface vessels and smaller platforms. The Bigung passed final testing under the US Defense Department's Foreign Comparative Testing program, raising expectations for US export orders. LIG D&A established its US subsidiary LIG Defense U.S. Inc. earlier in 2026 to support market entry.
