LIG Defense & Aerospace and German defense giant Rheinmetall signed a strategic partnership to establish a joint venture for NATO air defense systems. The JV will localize, develop, and market medium- and long-range as well as very short-range air defense systems. The deal deepens Korean-European defense industrial ties as NATO modernization drives demand for integrated air defense capabilities.
