Peru K2 Black Panther & K808 APC Framework Agreement

Hyundai Rotem signed a framework agreement with Peru for 54 K2 Black Panther tanks and 141 K808 wheeled armored vehicles, estimated at $1.7-2 billion. Initial batch of 46 K2s and 99 K808s to be delivered directly from South Korea (2026-2028), followed by local assembly of 104 K2s and 181 K808s in Peru from 2029-2040. Partners plan a $270M investment for a specialized industrial complex in Peru. This is South Korea's largest defense export to Latin America and the K2's first sale outside Europe.
